Prior to leaving for South Africa and the Miss World Pageant,Miss Cayman Islands 2001/2002 23 year old Shannon McLean of EastEnd has been hard at work sculpting her physique.

Shannon has been taking advantage of complimentary personal trainingand nutritional advice as part of her Miss Cayman prize package.
She recently returned from further training in the United States.
The Miss Cayman Islands Contest is organised by the Ministry ofTourism.
This year's contest was held at the Lions Centre on Saturday,8 September and was attended by an estimated crowd of 2,000, whichwas reported to be one of the largest attendance in the historyof the contest.
