Ed Solomon To Run The NewYork Marathon

Businessman Ed Solomon, will be participatingin the New York Marathon on November 3, 2002, to raise money forthe newest Rotary Club in the Cayman Islands, Rotary Sunrise.
Mr. Solomon, noting that he was excitedabout running, said the money raised will be used for variouscommunity projects including refurbishing laundry facilities atthe Pines National Retirement Home.
The Club will also make a donation of themoney to the Family Life Centre After School Programme, he said.
Mr. Solomon is seeking sponsorship on acorporate basis which would be a donation of over CI$500 entitlingthe sponsor to a logo on his shirt as well as being named in thepublicity.
In addition, he is also asking for sponsorshipby mile basis, for example, CI$5 per mile, or on a complete themarathon basis, which is CI$100 to complete the marathon.
