Texaco Sponsors the Game
Reggae Boyz vs. CaymanIslands National Football Team
This year Texaco, an ardent supporter ofsports in the Cayman Islands, is the major sponsor for the ReggaeBoyz vs. the Cayman Islands National Football team. "Texaco has always supported sportsin the Cayman Islands and so we are quite happy to sponsor thisparticular event" Mr. Thompson said.
Mr. Webb added "We are grateful toTexaco for their sponsorship as it has made this game a realityand is a major contribution to the development of our presentand future national team players."
The occasion was the presentation of a chequeby Mr. Thompson to CIFA.
The game is scheduled for Sunday August27, 2000 at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex. Kickoff will beat 6:00 pm sharp with an exhibition match to wet the appetitebefore the big one at 4 pm.
