Bodden Beverages and Pepsi- in Support of 2001 YCLA

Bodden Beverages and Pepsi have joined togetherfor a second year of supporting the Young Caymanian LeadershipAwards (YCLA) as a major sponsor.
Mrs. Rose and Mr. James Bodden announced the $15,000 corporatesponsorship on behalf of both Bodden Beverages and Pespi withMr. Olivaire Watler, member of the YCLA Honourary Board and recipientof the first annual Award.
"Bodden Beverages and Pepsi are pleased to play an activerole in a programme that promotes leadership within our community",stated Mr. Bodden about the Bodden Beverages and Pepsi contributionto the Young Cayman Leadership Awards programme. "As a Caymanianfamily owned and operated business, we feel it is important tofoster the growth and development of strong leaders for the futureof Cayman."
The goal of the YCLA is to identify and encourage leadership qualitiesin young Caymanians. This objective can only be achieved withthe generous support of the community. "Bodden Beveragesand Pepsi would also like to congratulate Mr. Olivaire Watleron being the recipient of the first annual Young Caymanian LeadershipAwards. He is now a member of the YCLA Honourary Board and iscontinuing to show strong leadership values for the younger generation."
The First YCLA were held March 17th, 2000 to a sold out crowdat the Hyatt Pavillion. Planning has started for the YCLA 2001Awards Gala and is tentatively scheduled for early spring 2001.The event, like the 2000 edition, will be televised live on CITN.
Mr. Olivaire Watler commented, "I am pleased to accept onbehalf on the Young Caymanian Leaders Foundation the very generousdonation by Bodden Beverages and Pepsi. The donation is a testamentto the social awareness and commitment of Bodden Beverages andPepsi and should be regarded as an investment in Cayman's youngleaders, and therefore in the future of our country."

For the 2000 edition of the YCLA,Bodden Beverages and Pepsi were also contributors at the majorsponsorship level. "I sincerely thank Bodden Beverages andPepsi for their support.
