Introducing: Friendship Force(Cayman Islands)

Your readers may never have heard of FriendshipForce -- but the Cayman Chapter has been active now for threeyears, and we are looking to expand our membership!
The name says it all -- a world of friendship is a world of peace.Friendship Force is an international organisation dedicated tolinking people worldwide, arranging exchanges between groups asdisparate as Mongolia and the United Kingdom.
'Ambassadors' volunteer to visit other countries, where they arehome-hosted by other volunteers in those counties. This providesdirect but very informal contact between hosts and Ambassadors.
Friendship Force is non-political, non-denominational, non-profit-- it crosses all divides. The Cayman Islands Chapter is the firstin the Caribbean -- we have hosted groups from New Zealand andJapan, and this year we are welcoming a group of Ambassadors fromCuritaba in Brazil (September 24th to October 2nd)!
This is the largest group we have entertained yet, and we areactively looking for more 'host families'. You don't have to bea member of Friendship Force -- but if you want to join us, we'llbe very happy to have you!
Friendship Force membership is open to all individuals and familieswho embrace the ideals of cultural understanding and personalfriendships. Would you like to open your home and your lifestyleto someone from another culture? This is not a 'bed&breakfast'programme; we want our visitors to go away with a better understandingof the culture and heritage of this country.
What would you show a visitor to Cayman, besides the usual touristfun? There are scheduled activities, but more informal interactionssuch as church, work, family life are ideal. Alternatively, ifspace in your home is limited, you can opt for being a 'day host'and showing the Ambassadors a taste of our island life!
