Fall fashion show fundraiser

A Fall Fashion Extravaganza is slated forSaturday, 28 September, presented by the Cayman Carnival BatabanoCommittee and Cayman Hospice Care.
The event is a dual fundraiser for boththe Hospice and the Cayman Carnival Committee. It is the firsttime such a partnership has taken place for either organisation.
Batabano Committee Chairman, Donna Myrie,said she envisions more such combined fundraising efforts in thefuture. "We're going through challenging times right nowand I think its more beneficial if organizations combine theirefforts," she said.
Bell Ebanks, office manager at the Hospice,said I think it,s absolutely fantastic that they would want toinclude us in this fundraiser. It,s a great way to showcase theHospice centre as well.
The event will be held on the lawns of theHospice Care Centre on Crewe Road from 5-7:30pm. Fashions presentedwill be from Arabus, Alee and Le Classique modelled by popularlocal male and female models.
Miss Cayman, Shannon McLean, will be theguest model as will Mr. Cayman, Kenneth Bryan. Hair will be byGary Callan.
Live entertainment for the event will beby Mainstream.
Tickets are $20 and include drinks, horsd,oeuvres, and entry in the raffle for various prizes. Ticketsare available at Arabus, Alee, Le Classique and Hospice committeemembers.
