Hurricane Lili update
The National Hurricane Center in Miami issueda tropical storm watch for the southern coasts of the DominicanRepublic and Haiti on Tuesday night, though a hurricane watchmay be required for Haiti from Punta Palenque westward to Tiburonon the western tip of the Tiburon peninsula of Haiti.
Lili is moving toward the west near 13 mph...20KM per hour...and this general motion should continue with a gradualturn toward the West-Northwest is expected Wednesday (25 September)
Maximum sustained winds are near 70 mph...110KMper hour...with higher gusts. Some slight strengthening is forecastduring and into the and Lili could become a hurricane by Wednesday.
Tropical storm force winds extend outwardup to 125 miles ...205KM from the centre.
