Better Signage for QueenElizabeth II Botanic Park

Queen ElizabethII Botanic Park Manager Andrew Guthrie with the new signs thatwill be erected at the junction leading to the Park.

The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park willsoon be sporting two colourful roadside signs to attract visitorsto the facility. The signs were designed to be highly visibleto passing motorists travelling in either direction past the Park.

"The experts keep telling us that visitorsare interested in Caymanian things, so we need to be doing moreto point out what we have to visitors once they get here,"explained the Minister for Tourism, the Honourable McKeeva Bush.The bright signage would draw more attention to the Botanic Park,he continued, which is highly regarded by gardening specialistsworldwide.

Tourism Attractions Board Manager DavidMartins said the signs were an improvement on the A-frame signpreviously used at the junction leading to the Park; they weredesigned and manufactured locally by the George Town firm AdvantageGraphic Design.
