Phoenix Athletic Club givesElection Results
The Phoenix Athletic Club announces theresults of its election of officers who will serve for the nexttwo years. The immediate past incumbents were all returned withoutopposition.
Discussion included mention of possiblelocal and international participation by club members for theremainder of this year and for next year. Note was made of availableevents for several age levels of competition- youth through masters.
Another item that was discussed was thenecessity for timely preparation for competitive participation.Sufficient advance notice of events and adherence to calendardates is of great importance for athletes to properly train. Somuch, in fact, that it was noted that several countries have alreadypublished their qualifying standards for CARIFTA, Pan Am Juniors,and Island Games for next year.
