Mother ofstar Sylvester Stallone seeks grannie in Ukraine

ODESSA, Ukraine (AFP) - The mother of USHollywood star Sylvester Stallone, of 1980s blockbusters Rockyand Rambo fame, is on the trail of her late grandmother in Ukraine,she told a press conference Friday in the southern port of Odessa.
An astrologer by profession, JacquelineStallone, who introduced herself as "the world's most famousastrologer," said her grandmother, Rosa Labovich, had emigratedto Washington DC from pre-revolutionary Russia, to which Odessaand Ukraine once belonged.
However, her grandmother had never specificallymentioned Odessa to her, Stallone said, flanked by her fifth husbandwho accompanied her on her trip.
But during a visit to the Soviet Union inthe 1980s she was told about an Odessa trail "by the KGB,"she added, without specifying why it took her so long to comehere.
Stallone, who arrived here Thursday andplans to stay until Sunday, met Friday with the city's mayor,Ruslan Bodelan.
She said she thought Odessa was "veryromantic."
