Katrina McLaughlin

Known by friends and family as “Trina”, “Kat” or “Katty”, Katrina McLaughlin, 27, has been the CAYS Foundation Business Manager for more than four years.

“I love children…I am rewarded by the beautiful smiles I see on their faces and the love they show me when they visit CAYS head office. I am happy to know that I play a major role in supporting these young people in any way I can.”

Her favourite sports are football and basketball, she says. “I am a football fanatic. I have played the sport for over 10 years now and still enjoy playing it.” She currently plays for Alba Volts in WestTel Five-A-Side.

“In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my family and friends or playing football. I strongly believe in being active…because it helps us to maintain good health and relieves us of some of our stress.

“As my 84-year-old grandfather always tells me, if you don’t find things to do to keep active you will seize up.”
