Hector Alberez

Pump attendant at Lorna’s Texaco Station in Bodden Town, Hector Alberez, loves his job because he gets to meet many new people. He moved to the Cayman Islands six years ago from his native Honduras, where his wife, daughter and son still live.

In his spare time he says he likes “to play football, watch sports on television and go to Driftwood and sit on the beach and relax with friends”.

Before relocating to Cayman, Mr Alberez worked on a cruise ship, with his stints on board lasting from four months to six months at a time.

He says he also enjoys going to church, and that becoming a Christian has been the most significant event in his life.
