Merry Sales For Merchants
Local merchants are tentatively calling the Christmas season of 2003 a very good one, but, they admit, the numbers are still coming in and the last few days can be crucial to the entire season.
"We are pleased to say that the season has lived up to our expectations," explained Troy Leacock, Managing Director of Home and Office City, "but the three days leading up to Christmas are critical. Up to this point, sales are up from last year. The trends we saw have continued into December."

Cayman Government To Investigate Epicurum Fund
The Attorney General, Samuel Bulgin, has announced that he will ask the Royal Cayman Islands police to investigate the Epicurum fund in which the crisis-stricken Italian food group Parmalat invested more than US$600 million.
