Man stabbed to death in Sound Way

It was well-deserved holiday break for all Meals on Wheels volunteers

Christmas Day and Boxing Day were well-deserved days off for Rotary Club of Grand Cayman's Meals on Wheels staff this holiday season, according to Rotarian Jim O'Neill, Managing Director of Bank Austria Cayman Islands Ltd.  "Because some of our volunteers are off-Island around Christmas, it's one of the few breaks Meals on Wheels staff get," said Mr O'Neill.  The programme, which, up until recently prepared approximately 70 meals in George Town and in West Bay, now feeds more than a dozen seniors in Bodden Town as well... read more...

As of 30 December, the total number of times the pages on our two websites: caymannetnews.com and caribbeannetnews.com, have been viewed during the month now exceeds 100,000 - representing 20,000 different visitors to the two sites. This has been partly fuelled by the impressive growth of our Caribbean news site, which is now recording ten times the amount of traffic compared to just three months ago.
