Ads Ban Lifted
The Cayman Islands Cabinet voted on Tuesday to lift the government advertising ban it had imposed on Cayman Net News earlier this year, according to a Cabinet official.
As first reported in Cayman Net News on 9 February, the ban, which was ostensibly imposed because the newspaper did not offer sufficient value for cost, barred all Cayman Islands Government departments and authorities from advertising in the newspaper.

Cellular Phone Competitors Disagree On Rates
The three cellular service providers in the Cayman Islands - Digicel, AT&T Wireless and Cable & Wireless (C&W) - have told the Information & Communications Technology Authority (ICTA) that they have been unable to reach an agreement on what price to charge each other for terminating calls on each other's lines.
