Dart moves ahead
The
Central Planning Authority (CPA) last week approved a US $47.5-million
building development that will become part the “Waterfront Village,” the first
phase of the Seven-Mile Beach to North Sound Dart Project. The approved
buildings, currently called “Block 6”, will consist of approximately 85,000
square feet office space and an attached structured parking facility and
becomes the second block of the Dart development...

Cayman
Carnival Batabano celebrations began with the Minister’s Carnival Masquerade
Fete at Pedro St James Castle, on Thursday 6 May. More than 200 guests

More Cuban Refugees Detained
A group of Cuban refugees has been taken to Grand Cayman
and detained after the boats they were travelling in were declared
unseaworthy. The 20 Cubans, who said they were refugees, were rounded up
on Cayman Brac early Friday morning after two of the boats that they were
travelling in were destroyed on the reef and a third was declared unseaworthy...

on Friday, 7 May for robbing a United States tourist of $15 at The Matrix last
