Sherri Bodden-Cowan confirmed to Cayman Net News that she would not seek a
seat in the Legislative Assembly in November’s general elections, putting an
end to widespread speculation that she would run in the district of George
Town. Mrs Bodden-Cowan indicated that family and business

Roffey Qualifies For Olympics

Cayman Islands swimmer Heather Roffey qualified for the
2004 Athens Olympics in the 800-metre freestyle event last Thursday at the Grand
Prix Ultra Swim Meet in Charlotte, North Carolina. By taking more than
three seconds off her personal best time in the event, Heather became the Cayman
