Putting On The Ritz For Staffing
The
Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman held a Career Fair at the Family Life Centre on
Walkers Road last Friday and Saturday. There was a high turnout of those
looking for work, and a large crowd formed outside the doors an hour before the
event began on Friday, and lines ran outside to the parking lot for hours.

Tourism Numbers Up 22 Percent
The
latest tourism statistics show air arrivals up nearly 22 percent for May 2004
compared with the same period last year. This May, 25,502 stay-over
visitors arrived in the Cayman Islands by air, compared to 20,909 in 2003.
This year’s figure was also 8.3 percent higher than the number of stay-over
tourists for the month in 2002. May marked the sixth straight month that
arrivals surpassed the year before...

Person of the Day - Yessenia Haylock
“I
enjoy my work,” says Yessenia Haylock, who works in the Coffee Grinder
restaurant at Seven Mile Shops in George Town. Yessenia has a reputation
