Cruise ships dock proposed for port
Proposals
from three different overseas companies, including one cruise line, have been
received by Government to create a cruise ship berthing dock in George Town,
according to the Leader of Government Business and Minister of Tourism Hon
McKeeva Bush. Mr Bush, who is also the Chairman of the Port Authority,

Show Me Helps Flood Victims
In
response to the recent severe flooding in the Dominican Republic and Haiti,
Cayman Net News and MCM Consultants held a fundraiser to benefit the Cayman
Islands Red Cross relief efforts last week. Held at the Corner Pocket, the
Cuban band Show Me performed, while those in attendance were asked to contribute
five dollars at the door. Approximately CI$1,000 was raised for the cause...
