Minister of Tourism, the Hon McKeeva Bush, said this week he supported Acting
Director of Tourism Pilar Bush as a candidate to fill the position
permanently, however Ms Bush maintained she was unsure if she would apply for

No Bribes, Says Acting Governor

Governor James Ryan issued a statement on Tuesday saying that an investigation
by senior government officials uncovered no evidence that detained Cuban
refugees bribed their way out of prison here, as reported in a Washington Post

Monk Who Walked Great Wall Visits Cayman

the request of local practicing Buddhists, Dr Sumana Siri, a Malaysian-born
Buddhist monk who walked the full length of China’s Great Wall during a
nine-month period, is now visiting Grand Cayman until 19 August. In the
