The UK Privy Council approved a constitutional amendment order for the Cayman Islands that corrected an anomaly that arose from the 2002 British Overseas Territories Act, according to a proclamation issued by HE the Acting Governor James Ryan on Monday.  The anomaly created a conflict that legally would have prevented nearly all Caymanians from becoming candidates for the Legislative Assembly.. read more...

First National Human Rights Committee introduced
