Elections Safe
The
UK Privy Council approved a constitutional amendment order for the Cayman
Islands that corrected an anomaly that arose from the 2002 British Overseas
Territories Act, according to a proclamation issued by HE the Acting Governor
James Ryan on Monday. The anomaly created a conflict that legally would
have prevented nearly all Caymanians from becoming candidates for the
Legislative Assembly..

First National Human Rights Committee introduced
Members
of the Cayman Islands first National Human Rights Committee were introduced to
the public on Monday by the Chairman of that committee, Hon Roy Bodden,
Minister for Education, Human Resources and Culture. “The purpose of
