PPM nominee for BT George Ebanks alleges possible “underhandedness” following secret ballot defeat
After
not receiving the People’s Progressive Movement’s (PPM) nomination during its
run-off at the Bodden Town Constituency meeting last Thursday evening,
candidate George Ebanks lashed out at the party’s hierarchy the next day,
claiming underhandedness might have been at play. “I am being led to
believe that the voting at that meeting may not mirror the true democratic

Solomon Burkley
For
the last five and a half years, Solomon Burkley, has been helping the
customers of AL Thompson’s Home Depot. “It’s nice working here,” he
says. “I like the people I work with. I like to do what I can to make
everybody happy and see that they get what they need when they come in here.”
