Tourism passes pre-9/11 figures

For the first time since the 9/11 terrorist attack on the United States, Cayman Islands tourist arrival figures surpassed those for a corresponding month in the year prior to the attack.  During July, 33.118 visitors arrived by air, surpassing the 32,255 that came here in July 2001. US meat to return to supermarkets

Bone-in cuts of beef, from the United States will again be available in local supermarkets, following the Cayman Islands Government’s issuing of revised conditions for the importation of ruminant meat from the US.
