Curfew to end?

Across the board a number of residents are beginning to ask if the curfew is now really necessary, especially in and around the George Town area? As the Island begins to make rapid strides towards recovery the imposition of a police curfew is now starting to impact on the local economy, as lounges, stores and restaurants are forced to close by 10 pm.

Pirates Week to go ahead in Little Cayman
Although the usual celebrations that mark Pirates Week around the Cayman Islands were cancelled as a result of the hurricane, residents are not letting it spoil their fun in Little Cayman as they plan to carry on regardless of Ivan with celebrations over the public holiday weekend, 12

Cruise ship plan for accommodation awaiting go-ahead

Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce is pushing ahead with a plan to secure the
use of a cruise-ship, the Ocean Countess with more than 1000 berths, currently
anchored in Greek waters, to meet the pressing need for temporary
accommodation on Grand Cayman. The Chamber Council agreed to spearhead
