Party disarray?
Political
parties in the Cayman Islands seem to be in disarray just months away from the
general election. Chairman of the National Executive of the ruling United (UDP)
Democratic Party Mr Billy Reid is of the view that disarray is a harsh term
since political parties all over the world go through similar stages. Mr
Reid added, “Generally what we are experiencing in the Cayman Islands is more of
a personality problem."...

PPM opposes contract
After considerable criticism over what has been termed the PPM’s
silence on the debate over the $10.7 million debris contract awarded to MC
Restoration, the Hon Kurt Tibbetts, JP, Leader of the Opposition and Leader of
the People’s Progressive Movement, issued a statement on the matter.
