Tourism sector looks good for the Cayman Islands

There has been a strong response from stay over visitors to the Cayman Islands with the opening of the Island to tourists.  This revelation was made by Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Gloria McField Nixon.  “At the time we opened for tourists there were approximately 500 rooms available and there was real interest shown by visitors wanting to visit the Island."... read more...


Chamber Calls for Legislative Reform

The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce (CICC) believes that legislative reform is necessary to address issues faced by both landlord and tenants.  Chief Executive Officer of the CICC, Wil Pineau said his organisation is putting a task force together to look at the issue, as there are problems on both sides.  “We have received more than 74 complaints.”... read more... 


Person of the Day - April Bending
