RCIP investigating financial forgeries
An investigation is now underway by the Royal Cayman Islands Police, (RCIP)
after forged documents using the signature of Chief Secretary, Hon George A
McCarthy, were used to get international banks to transfer money to a bogus
account last week. The forged documents requested wire transfer payments to the “Foreign Exchange Allocation Commission” and used the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA)
