Cayman faces a tsunami threat
(AFP) The Cayman Islands,
along with other islands in the Caribbean as well as cities on the East Coast of
the US, could be wrecked by a tsunami unleashed by the collapse of a volcanic
island in the eastern Atlantic, British scientists believe. A massive

Fake Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, (CIMA)
documents have been used to attempt to defraud a non-resident of US$
118,886.33, by forging the signature of Chief Secretary, Hon George A
McCarthy. The attempted fraud is believed to be part of an ongoing Nigerian
letter scam to swindle people out of their money. Generally, the

The kitchen roof blew off, the
electricity went out and the back -up generator was flooded, but Elaine
Richardson, a cook for 17 years, knew the patients and staff at the hospital
would not be fed unless they got a stove working. So Mrs Richardson
