Truancy watch now in effect

The Port Authority continues to fight backlog battles

The Port Authority team is continuing to do battle on a daily basis with the backlog, which has built up since imports soared to the Cayman Islands in the wake of Ivan.  From Wednesday 19 January staff will be working on a shift basis to ensure that operations at the dock and the distribution warehouse will be round the clock.  Additional employees have been hired to ensure that cargo is cleared as quickly as possible... read more...
