Twelve more leave Health Services Authority in March

There were at least 12 resignations from the Health Services Authority (HSA)
in the month of March including the Director of Human Resources and the Manager
of Human Resources, both adding to the continued exodus of key staff members
from the system in the last few months. Janise Bengtson, Director of Human
Resources, and Tonya Mitchell, Manager of Human Resources have both recently
resigned....

New downtown cruise ship dock under deluge

Cruise ship passengers faced a harrowing ordeal on
Tuesday afternoon, 29 March when a sea swell hit the Cayman Islands presenting
a dangerous situation for the tender operators who were unable to get their
boats safely against the dock to collect cruise ship passengers until late in
the evening to take them back to their vessels.
The rough conditions caused damage to at least one of the cruise lines’

A 35-year old Caymanian man, Sheldon Brown, was shot at a liquor license premises in East End on 29 March. Several people reported the incident and RCIPS
Officers were dispatched. Extensive searches were carried out in the area but
