Cubans protest

One of the placards in the windows of a Brac church last Sunday, (17 April ) read, “We Want Continue to Honduras”. This and a number of other protest signs made with markers and cardboard or paper, were held by Cubans detained on Cayman Brac, holding a peaceful demonstration on 17 April to make known their wish to continue on with their journey to Honduras by sea and not to be repatriated to Cuba....

Treasure Island debts shortfall

Even with the pending sale of Treasure
Island later this month, the money paid by the new owners will not cover the
mortgage owed leaving $1.2 million in unsecured creditors out in the cold
according to Jeff Coyne, Receiver for Treasure Island. Scotia Bank however has agreed to pay employees back- wages owed before receivership even though that debt was lower on the legal priority list for creditors...

Public complain over bribery and undue influence in campaign
