Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital has reached a turning point last week when
Dr Steve Tomlinson called the realtor JC Calhoun to let him know the hospital is
no longer for sale. After considering several offers over the last few months to
sell, in the end Dr Tomlinson just didn’t have the heart to sell it. Dr
Tomlinson said it was a weight off his shoulders and even though Mr Calhoun lost

Dyoll outstanding claims mount

New information from the Cayman Insurance Centre (CIC)
revealed there is still around $19.1 million in outstanding Dyoll Company
Insurance claims from a total of $60.3 million claims throughout the Cayman
Islands.
However the $19.1 million is not conclusive because it does not include claims
in Jamaica or claims before or after Hurricane Ivan.
The CIC also revealed that there is $1.55 million in assets....

Philidelphis last week, the Hon. Kenneth Jefferson, Financial Secretary, told
the audience that, “Cayman’s expert insurance managers, captive directors and
their advisors are factors contributing to the Cayman Islands being the domicile
of choice for an increasing number of captive insurance companies.”
