Government chose port bid for $3m more

The process of tendering over Government projects is coming under fire once
again. This time, two local construction firms say their joint bid for the Port
development was almost $3 million lower than the one actually awarded to Misener
Marine to develop the new George Town port.

Legendary Soca singer Byron Lee tried out the new Cable & Wireless product,
NetSpeak, by calling his son in Jamaica on 4 May at the telecommunication firm’s
new product launch. NetSpeak is an internet phone service for making

Liquidators appointed for Segoes

After allegedly operating a ponzi fraud scheme, where funds from new
investors are used to pay off older investments, Segoes Services Ltd, an
internet-based stock trading company, went into provisional liquidation on 29
April.
