No smoking policies ignored

The anti-smoking policies that have existed here on the Cayman Islands so far have largely been both undefined and ignored. The rules as far as limiting smoking go are in most cases confined to government buildings in keeping with the policy that non-smokers have the right to breathe smoke-free air on government premises. Port Authority rules on snorkelling accident

The wakeboarders involved in the accident that saw a snorkeller lose an arm in George Town Harbour last Saturday, 14 May should have been at least 50 yards offshore, said a Port Authority spokesman. Person of the Day - Anita Kelly

Cooking for the children at the Cayman Brac Day Care is one of the things that Anita Kelly just loves to do. She has been employed there for the last four years. “I love to see them eat and enjoy their food,” she says.
Ms Kelly prepares good nutritious food, such as chicken, fish, rice and peas, pizza, and spaghetti and meat sauce. The kids like everything, she says. She has been a cook for the last ten years...
