The Minister of Education Hon Alden McLaughlin was greeted with another surprise in his new role recently when he discovered that squatters had moved into some condemned buildings on the premises of George Town Primary School. Island Air bows out

After sixteen years of commercial air service to the Sister Islands, Island Air (IA) is ending scheduled commercial flights, unable to compete against the government subsidised CAL Express service. $39 million reportedly ‘missing’ from Segoes companies

Estimates for missing funds from Segoes Services Ltd investors have reportedly climbed to $39 million as the liquidators have taken legal control of Segoes Services Ltd and its mirror companies in Belize.
