Permit Delays Create Chaos
With a backlog of some 6200 work permit applications, representing more
than a third of the expatriate workforce, it is becoming clear the manual
review system needs an overhaul according to Chairman of the Immigration
Board. The Board currently receives 200 work permit applications a day, which
