Dredging raises concerns

Dredging two channels of ironshore for a future condo development has raised concerns with neighbors and environmentalists regarding cloudy polluted water along South Sound that may have come from the dredging.

Refurbished Lions Eye Clinic re-opens

The re-opening of the Lions Eye Clinic took place on Friday 27 August, on the grounds of the Cayman Islands Hospital. The Hon Anthony Eden, Minister for Health, was present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with representatives of the Lions Club of Grand Cayman.
