Dimitri’s Family Still Say ‘Murder’
Whatever the results of the soon-to-be released toxicology
report from the Bermuda Police, the family of Dimitri Pappas maintain that their
loved one was murdered. The family is still convinced of this, especially as

Humane Society’s Sale of Collectibles
The Cayman Islands Humane Society held a special sale for
curios and collectibles outside the Humane Society Shelter, North Sound Road
on Saturday 3 September. Thrift Shop coordinator, Suzanna Gatta, said that she had
the idea after seeing an old, ornate chair in the Humane Society’s ‘Claws It’
Thrift Shop: “We gave it a price of just a few dollars on the chair, but
really it was worth more than that,” she said...

No one knows better than Caymanians what it means to suffer in the wake of
a terrible hurricane. As the country prepares to mark the first anniversary of
Hurricane Ivan, people are rallying to do what they can for those who are now

Rise in makeshift housing overwhelms the Planning Department

number of complaints on makeshift housing which is not up to code, unsafe and
