Drugs on Streets Story Upsets Cops
On Tuesday 6 September Cayman Net News reported on
accusations made by people from the community that seized drugs were
reportedly being sold back on the streets of the Cayman Islands. As soon as the edition hit the newsstands the phones in
the Net News’ offices began ringing as members of the public phoned to affirm
the story. The callers came from different walks of life and were all

Caring for animals as a lifelong mission
Although most of the time veterinarian Brenda Bush treats dogs and cats,
she was ready for action when a 300-pound turtle arrived at the surgery that
had been attacked by a shark. Ms Bush amputated the front fin and the turtle
was released. Even though the turtle lost her front fin, she is still fully
functional since she could swim and lay her eggs. On any other day, Ms Bush
