Donna Myrie, owner of Le Classique the store specializing in high quality women’s shoes, is celebrating her boutique’s 22nd anniversary. Pensions office pursues Henderson 

The owner of Office Pavilion, Scott Henderson, did not show up to the first court hearing on 4 October where he faced 78 charges for failing to pay pensions for employees. Mr Henderson’s attorney, Clyde Allen, was called into the court and the case was combined with another of Mr Henderson’s, Cayman Flooring and Kitchen Specialists Ltd., which has 86 charges against it related to non-payment of pensions... read more...

Jewish community celebrates Rosh Hashanah

Local Jewish residents had the opportunity to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year with visiting Rabbis from the Chabad Lubavitch organization. Rabbis Daniel Denburg and Zalman Shneur, from new York, hosted an orthodox service, song and kosher food at the Marriott Resort Grand Cayman on 3 October, the eve of the celebration.
