Budget Proposed to Boost Recovery

The final word on projected Government expenditure for the 2005 to 2006 period was heard in the Legislative Assembly on 10 October. The budget is expected to strengthen families, the community and education with expenditure on those areas representing more than half of the total spend. The Segoes Joint Official Liquidators held a deposition with Howard Gostfrand to find out why Segoes paid him and his company $300,000 and then why he allegedly turned around and paid over $100,000 to Segoes owner John Kaweske. Officials shocked by inaccuracies in the ‘target Jamaicans’ story
