Jamaica Government Seeks Meeting
Following on the heels of a newspaper report in Jamaica that Cayman Islands
immigration officers have turned back more than 100 Jamaicans at the airport
here in October alone, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade in
Jamaica issued a statement saying that it would “be initiating urgent
discussions with the Caymanian authorities.” According to a report that

Combining dancing and painting for a new art

Performing art and visual art combined on Wednesday 9 November, at the National Gallery. Four dancers interpreted the artwork of local artist Al Ebanks, at the opening night of his new exhibition, Dancing to Art. Three dances were specially choreographed for the show by Lorna Reid, and Patrice Donalds
and her dancing partner, Roger Thompson. Ms Reid was not able to attend the

Sad songs for New Year’s Eve
