Foreign Workers Exploited
Employees on the low end of the wage scale, such as hair-
dressers, domestic helpers and construction workers coming from a variety of
countries such as the Philippines, Dominican Republic, Honduras and other
countries in the region, even Jamaica have reported that they are being
exploited. Some hair salons only pay commission and so if there are not enough
sales many hair dressers are complaining...

Hon Anthony Eden, Minister of Health and Human Services,
has linked attention to the emotional health, wellbeing and productivity of
employees to employees receiving a Christmas gift from their employers at this

the development of medical tourism is possible in order to stimulate the

Person of the Day - Alphonso Gayle
A supply teacher at the Brac High School, Alphonso Gayle
teaches Business Studies and volunteers for the Rotary sponsored Junior
Achievement programme. He has also quickly become known for the mellow sounds of
his deep bass voice since he and his family moved here from Jamaica. Mr Gayle
says that, as a child, he used to sing in the choir for the New Testament
