After-prison help needed for drug abusers

There is a pressing need in the Cayman Islands for mandatory follow-up treatment and specialist counselling for convicted people who have a drug abuse problem after they have completed their sentence, said the Director of Prisons Dwight Scott in a recent interview with Cayman Net News.  Mr Scott said that about 40 per cent of the inmates at the prison are there for drug related crimes... read more...
