Trouble in North Side pipeline

North Side resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said she was upset after
discovering that the pipeline that was due to carry piped water to North Side
and Cayman Kai, would in fact be going in the opposite direction, along the
Queens Highway, in the direction of East End. The resident said she
understood that was the outcome of the Water Authority board meeting that took
place on Wednesday 18 January ...

A breakfast fit for a Lion
Over
20 Lions Club volunteers got up early on Saturday morning for one of the main
Lions Club fundraising events; the Lions Club breakfasts. President of
the Lions Club of Grand Cayman, Walton Gooding, explained: “The breakfasts are
one of the regular fund raising events. We try to do around ten a year.
Members normally go fishing (for the fish that makes up the breakfast)"...

CAL digging in for low-fare battle
THE
National Flag carrier, Cayman Airways, is accelerating its campaign to be
competitive on the Cayman-United States route by offering low fares to Boston,
the firm said. The company is now offering a $399 special fare to Boston
from Grand Cayman with Cayman Brac and Little Cayman residents having to add
$50 to be part of the deal. The low-fare is for a round trip but does
not include taxes and surcharges ...
