Doctor on hunger strike
With several changes of clothing, bottled water, a folded bed and an umbrella, Dr Luis M Luarca,
a Cuban refugee, is currently camped on the lawn of the Glass House, the
Government Administration building on Elgin Avenue on a hunger strike.
He began his protest on Monday 30 January and he has a list of demands, which
he hopes will be met before it is too late

‘Rainbow’ welcome for gay cruisers
EIGHT
years after they were forced to make a detour to avoid the wrath of
Caymanians, 3,200 gay tourists landed on Grand Cayman on Tuesday to a
