Cuban doctor attacked
Dr Luis Luarca,
a Cuban refugee who is still on a hunger strike to protest the human rights
violation in Cuba and the Cayman Islands, was attacked and pelted with eggs
while he slept during the early morning hours of Friday 3 February. The matter was reported to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS). Dr Luarca
was hit at least once during the attack

sanction alternative lifestyles programmes being taught in schools.

Over the last thirty years, Lawford
Tatum has donated a lot of blood. ”I only eat fish, not meat, so it’s good
blood,” he says. Mr Tatum adds he’s been eating fish all his life and
catches all he eats. “I’ve bought fish just once, and that was since I
started work as Branch Manager of Home Gas on Cayman Brac,” he adds. Mr
Tatum, who jokes his blood type is “Good O”, also drinks a lot of sorrel,
stewed with ginger and sugar
