serious international shortage of building materials especially cement is
driving up the cost of construction here according to the Cayman Islands
Contractors Association. Cayman Net News understands that work at
several construction sites has stopped or slowed down due to the lack of

Cruise VP says Princess not coming to Cayman
As
the Cayman Islands sets out to welcome one of the world’s largest cruise ships
in June, one major cruise line has decided not to return to Grand Cayman next
season. The Freedom of the Seas, owned by Royal Caribbean, is expected
here with its 3,600 passengers, while Princess Cruises’ Grand Princess will

Government Pensions Inspector earns New Certification
Having recently passed the requisite examinations, Government Pensions Inspector Pierre Lautischer
can now add the title of Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) to his
qualifications. Superintendent of Pensions Cyril Theriault applauded Mr. Lautischer’s
