of the community have begun to talk about a national lottery in the Cayman
Islands again and are saying that this would be another revenue source for the
Government. With the need to raise an additional $25 million more income
for important demands such as schools and roads among others, even members of
the upper echelons of Cayman Islands society are willing to engage in the

Dr Luarca says he will not move
The
Cuban refugee who is on day 23 of a hunger strike, protesting human rights
violation in the Cayman Islands and Cuba among other things, said that the
Government has not given him what he has asked for so he will not come off the
strike. Dr Louis Luarca responded the Hon Alden McLaughlin, who is also
the chairman of the Human Rights Committee, who appealed to him to call off
