Police warn of road carnage Eight deaths from seven motor vehicle accidents since January 2006 was described as “unfortunate” and “tragic” by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Anthony Ennis at a special police briefing on Tuesday14 March. “Cayman roads have become so treacherous,” said the Deputy Commissioner. Scholarship deadlines loomAll students intending to apply for Government Scholarships to begin overseas studies in the upcoming academic year starting in September 2006 need to have their applications submitted by Friday, 31 March. Child of the Day - Teodoro “Ted” Padua After two years at Sister Janice’s School, he was Valedictorian for his school-leaving ceremony and was awarded First Honours. “His speech was long for a child his age,” his mother Azel, said.
